Mr. Janisse specializes in an array of legal domains, encompassing estate and succession planning, probate and trust administration, estate and trust litigation, conservatorships, real estate, business and transactional law.
Mr. Janisse collaborates with individuals and families, providing comprehensive solutions for estate planning. His expertise includes the drafting of living trusts, wills, powers of attorney, advanced health care directives, guardianship nominations, and irrevocable trusts.
Additionally, he has substantial experience representing beneficiaries, executors, and trustees in both contested and uncontested probate and trust administration proceedings. Mr. Janisse has represented beneficiaries and trustees in litigation involving multi million dollar disputes.
Mr. Janisse’s scope of representation extends to individuals and businesses across diverse scenarios. He guides clients in selecting and establishing business entities such as corporations, limited liability companies, general partnerships, limited partnerships, and nonprofit corporations. His business law portfolio includes the representation of businesses in various transactions, encompassing the drafting and negotiation of buy-sell agreements, asset and stock sale agreements, commercial and farm leases, and other contractual agreements.
Before joining Gilmore Magness Janisse, Mr. Janisse operated as the principal at the Law Office of Ryan M. Janisse. His practice, during this period, was predominantly focused on trusts, estates, and transactional law.
Mr. Janisse earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2003, graduating with honors, followed by a Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2009.
Mr. Janisse is duly admitted to practice before all California Courts. His jurisdiction also includes the United States District Court in the Eastern, Central, and Northern Districts of California.
Mr. Janisse is an active member of the American Bar Association, the California Bar Association, and the Fresno County Bar Association. He served as the Co-Chair for the Trust & Estates Section of the Fresno County Bar Association in 2013 and 2014.
Mr. Janisse has taught a number of continuing education courses in the subjects of estate planning and probate and trust administration and litigation.
In addition to his professional commitments, Mr. Janisse is actively involved in community service through the Saint Agnes Men’s Club, where he performed his duties as President in 2023.
Beyond his professional life, Mr. Janisse cherishes time with his family and pursues hobbies such as gardening, cooking, active endeavors such as hiking and camping.
